Members of the MekongSkills2Work (MS2W) Network collaborated to enhance work-based learning (WBL) programs in their institutions in order to improve youth employability!
We aim to equip youth with work-readiness skills and experiences. One way to achieve that is to get the students out on the street. Let them observe and expose them to the real world of work.
In the MS2W Work-Based Learning workshop, instructors from the Mekong Learning Centers (MLCs) engaged in firsthand experiences on what it means to learn to work: Getting out on the streets of Bangkok, and (discreetly) observed workplaces!
Mindshifts and action plans were tangible at the end of the workshop. We’re excited to see how the MS2W Network adapts and grows WBL throughout the Lower Mekong sub-region!
The WBL Workshop was held in Bangkok during 31 July- 4 Aug 2017. More photos here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm1tZuLA
